Digital Harbor HighschoolDigital Harbor is an innovative technology-focused high school located in historic Federal Hill overlooking Baltimore Harbor. A school of choice, students are chosen by lottery from communities across Baltimore City. The mission of Digital Harbor is to prepare students for college, careers in technology, and responsible citizenship.

Opened in 2002, the beautiful building underwent a multi-million dollar renovation to support high-tech programs. Students say the top ten reasons for attending Digital Harbor are: computer technology pathways, honors/AP program, modern facility, diversity, safety, location, sports, clubs/activities, faculty, and reputation. The population of 840 students is 72% African American, 23% white, and 5% other ethnicities.

Students at Digital Harbor prepare for careers by majoring in one of four technology pathways: Information Support and Services, Programming, Networking, or Interactive Media and Video. Students prepare for college by engaging in a rigorous study in English, mathematics, science, social studies, world and classical languages, health, physical education and fine arts. An honors and advanced placement program is available. To graduate, students must take additional technology and college preparatory credits and have excellent attendance and behavior. One of the safest and most orderly schools in Baltimore, Digital Harbor has a 92% attendance rate, and a graduation rate of over 90%.Drawing from diverse backgrounds in the public and private sector, the faculty is exceptionally well educated, talented, and committed.
